7 days 6 nights— Mountains – Berber Villages – Kasbahs – Valleys – Gorges and Sahara Desert

Breakfast at the Riad in Marrakech and departure with our private vehicle towards Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi Ntichka pass, 2,260m high, it is the highest point in the country, where we will enjoy incredible landscapes and where we will do several stops to take photos at the Berber villages. Then we will detour along a small road enjoying the beautiful landscapes that surround it until we reach the Kasbah of Telouat, we visit the Kasbah and will enjoy a typical meal of the town. In the afternoon we will continue through the Ounila Valley among Berber villages where families live in adobe houses lost in the mountains until we reach the fortified town of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its famous Kasbah (Declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1986). . In this spectacular setting, several famous films have been filmed such as Gladiator, Obelix, Sahara with Penelope Cruz...etc. After visiting the Kasbah we will leave for Ouarzazate, considered the great gateway to the desert, then we continue the route and in the afternoon we will arrive at the valley of the Head to the hotel to rest and enjoy the magical views from the terrace of our Riad, dinner and accommodation at the riad.

After breakfast, we can enjoy one of the best views of the Dadés Valley. We will do it from one of the most strategic places that the mountains offer us. From there we can observe the number of kasbahs there are and the picturesqueness of each one of them. After making several stops along the way, we will arrive at the Todra Gorges. Located near the city of Tineghir, they give way to the desert. Surrounded by a valley full of palm trees and adobe villages, here are the mountains most appreciated by climbing lovers. These Todra and Dadés faults are the best known and also the most impressive in Morocco. After a walk in the Todra Gorges and lunch in Tinejdad or Touroug, we leave for the desert to reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga where we will depart in a caravan of camels on a journey of approximately one hour to reach our nomadic haimas, Located in the middle of a sea of dunes (Erg Chebbi), we took the opportunity to see one of the most impressive sunsets you have ever seen before. Dinner and night in nomadic Haimas in the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.

Today will be a Total Desert day ''Appointment with the Dawn'' since you are in the desert, it is worth getting up early to walk to the highest dune around the haimas to enjoy the sunrise and this relaxing landscape that nature offers us, we will return on camels to the town of Merzouga. After a copious and delicious breakfast, we will surround the Erg Chebbi, an extension of sand desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, more than 250 meters high, and we will connect by track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar and with the mountains that border Algeria in the background. Stop at the Tissardmin oasis where we can find fossils that are still found in this region and we will continue towards a nomadic settlement where we will learn some of their secrets and customs. Subsequent stop at a panoramic point where we can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. We will arrive at the town of Khamlia, originally from Mali, where we will relax with tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa spiritual music. Return to the Hotel and after a rest we will go out with the quads to enjoy a route full of adrenaline in the middle of the Erg Chebbi desert and enjoy the sunset from the top of the dunes, then return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

After a delicious breakfast, we say goodbye to the desert and we will leave for Rissani where we will visit its market (if we are lucky and it is one of the market days: Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday) we will continue the road to Erfoud where there is also the possibility of visiting the fossilized marble factory before continuing towards the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. 1 hour later we will arrive at one of the strongest points of the High Atlas: The Todra Gorges. The bed of the Todra River has formed a gorge with vertical walls of enormous proportions and great beauty; It is a climber's paradise and a unique place. Lunch on site and a half-hour walk would be recommended to see and enjoy the Gorges in detail. In the afternoon we will continue towards the Dadès Valley, also known for the Fig Valley, passing through Boumalne Dadés we will stop at the ''monkey's paws'' Dinner and night in the Dadés Gorges.

After breakfast, we can enjoy one of the best views of the Dadés Valley. We will do it from one of the most strategic places that the mountains offer us. From there we can observe the number of kasbahs there are and the picturesqueness of each one of them, then exit towards a road dotted with various Kasbahs of great interest. After several stops to enjoy the route of the Thousand Kasbah, the Valley of Roses and the great palm grove of Skoura, we will arrive in Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, former residence of the Glaoui or Pasha of Marrakech, Cinema Studios and Museum of Cinema if you are interested. Lunch in the town and in the afternoon we will leave again for Marrakech crossing the Tizi Ntichka mountain pass with stops to take photos. Here we will leave behind the lunar landscape that will give way to the predominant green, ochre, etc. colors. Arrival in Marrakech around 6pm or so, transfer to the Riad to rest.
